Winemaker, Shane Ryan.
Born and raised in Sonoma Valley, Shane knew early on that the wine industry was going to be his passion and life-long pursuit. He obtained a degree from Sonoma State University in Wine Business Strategy and started gaining practical knowledge in the wine Industry. His first job was in the cellar at Trentadue, where he spent the next five years. During this time, Shane also picked up some extra hours working in the tasting room at Larson Family winery. Shane enjoyed serving and talking about wine so much that he stayed on for the next two years working weekends and sharing his passion for wine with others. He even met his wife while working in the tasting room at Larson in the summer of 2011. They have been married for eight years now and have two children.
Shane was the Assistant Winemaker at Larson from 2013-2017, then left for a bit to challenge his skill set at Benziger. In 2022 he rejoined Larson as Winemaker, and is eager to showcase his knowledge and style of winemaking into the brand. We are excited to share with you all where he will take the brand going forward.
hayden puryear
Hayden was born and raised in Gallatin, Tennessee. He met his wife Erica Larson in Nashville in 2017, and moved to Sonoma in 2021 where he worked in production and as a tasting room associate. After a tasting room fire in March 2022, Hayden took over as the tasting room manager. He loves the days he spends in the tasting room, meeting new people and making connections with our guests. On his days off, you can find him playing golf or watching the Tennessee Vols game with a glass of Larson Pinot Grigio in his hand!
Brian Quinn
After retiring from the corporate world, Brian joined Larson Family Winery as a Host in 2019. He loves to share his experiences of traveling and wine. Originally a Connecticut native, he has been living in Larkspur with his wife Peggy for over 30 years. He enjoys spending his winters skiing with his 2 sons in Tahoe, Utah & Colorado. Brian also spends his days off golfing. Brian’s love of wine and getting to know our customers has made him a great addition to Larson Family Winery.
Kristy Cingolani
After making the move from Marin County to Sonoma County in 2020, Kristy joined the Larson Family Winery team as Business Accountant in 2021. She and her husband live in Sonoma. She enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of Sonoma, cooking, and pickleball.
Kyle Throckmorton
Kyle is the CFO of Larson Family Winery. He received his Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno and later his Masters in Accounting online through SNHU. He likes to snowboard in the winter months and golf in the summer. He was born and raised in Nevada before moving to Sonoma to take this position, but has been visiting Sonoma all of his life. His favorite Larson wine is the LFW Meritage!
jonas orozco
Jonas has worked at Larson Family Winery since September of 2007. He started as a company mechanic, and in 2020, he took on his current position as the vineyard manager in 2020. Jonas still helps out with maintenance to machinery. You may see him around the winery while you’re here, he always has a smile on his face!
