For those of you who don’t know Cornerstone Place, it is an extraordinary destination spot, one that features a “festival” of gardens with exhibits by more that 20 world renowned landscape artists, as well as  the Blue Tree Café, an art gallery, and a few select retailers.  

When Cornerstone opened up space to wineries, Tom Larson was one of the first to hear about the opportunity.  Larson’s vineyard management company, Sonoma Creek Land and Farming, manages Cornerstone’s 15 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, so when Cornerstone opened up space to wineries, Larson was first in line. “What we were really looking for was somebody who was going to do something unexpected and unusual here and be unique," said Dave Aquilina, GM at Cornerstone.  The Larson tasting room, with its friendly, fun staff, has already brought a more of a local awareness to this avant-garde spot. 

As most of you know, the wines of Larson, are exclusively sold through their tasting rooms and wine clubs, and at the Cornerstone location, they are focusing on the Millerick Road label.  This is a second label, and was started primarily for our wine club members.  Circle M Wine Club members, can always purchase this wine at 50% off by the case.  “We decided on this promotion, so that our members could have a quality product at a more affordable price, especially if they enjoy wine with dinner more than a couple times per week, and especially if they entertain a lot, “said Becky Larson who oversees the tasting room operations. 

We are sharing the space at Cornerstone with a Carneros neighbor, Artesa Winery of Napa – strange bedfellows you say?  Not really, our family, and the families of Artesa, have been working and playing together since 1999.  Together they call their venture Carneros Family Wineries. Larson has often been called the Heart of the Carneros region, and Artesa is known as the Jewel of the Carneros. This September a large pavilion will be open, where we expect to host a number of music and food related events.  These spaces will also be available for private parties.  Come down and visit us in this fresh new space with friendly, fun staff, just waiting to pour you our award-winning (and affordable) wines!
